Welcome to the Jefferson Avenue church of Christ! We are the church home to nearly 650 members of all ages and backgrounds and we would love for you to visit us at anytime!

We deeply love souls at this congregation and want each person to know and obey God's Plan of Salvation. We would invite you to use the many Bible study aids on this site and would welcome the opportunity to study with you personally.

If you are new to the area or just passing through, we truly hope that you will come and worship, study, work and fellowship with us in the church Christ established.

Healing Hands Trip for Jan. 15 cancelled

Healing Hands Trip Friday, Feb 12, 8:00 AM Healing Hands International is in desperate need of new and clean, gently used blankets and quilts to send to the earthquake victims in Haiti.  There will be a collection box in the foyer.  We plan to take them to Nashville when we go February 12.  See Gaylon or Frances for more information.

Restoration History Trip

Managing Adversity Class

“Managing Adversity,” a class taught by David Chaney, will meet every third Tuesday at 6:30 PM, in the church library. The next meeting will be Tuesday, February 16.

Youth Events

Sunday Night Devotional Due to Snow Storm 2010, the devo this past Sunday night was postponed till a later date. We will be announcing this date soon. Thanks to the Kelly family for their willingness to postpone at the last minute. Makin’ Music THERE ARE JUST A FEW SPOTS LEFT!!!     Sign-ups are on the board now for Makin’ Music at Freed Hardeman. The event will be held on April 9-10. The cost of the trip is $20. Sign up now! Travis Young will be a host of this year’s event, and Jill Rhodes is a director. Sign-ups are on the bulletin board now. Challenge Youth Conference It’s time to pay for CYC. The cost for the conference will be $40 for teens and $30 for adults.  There will be a meeting in the Fellowship Hall on the Wednesday prior to CYC to discuss all the particulars of the trip. Make sure to grab a newsletter from the JA Youth Bulletin Board (located on the South Hall)
